The Banning Pilots baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Narbonne Gauchos to 0 in the Pilots league win on Friday.
The Pilots now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Gardena for a test on Wednesday, March 26. Banning will play a Panthers team coming off a 26-6 non-league loss to Dominguez (Compton, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Narbonne drops to 4-7 on the year. The Gauchos travel to San Pedro (San Pedro, CA) to play the Pirates in a test on Wednesday, March 26. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 2-6. San Pedro lost 6-3 in their recent league test against Banning (Wilmington, CA)
