The Santa Fe Chiefs baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Buena Park Coyotes to 3 in the Chiefs non-league win on Friday.

The Chiefs now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pacifica Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. Santa Fe will clash with a Tritons team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Tritons record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Buena Park drops to 1-4 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Kennedy (La Palma, CA) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a test on Tuesday, April 1. The Fighting Irish go into the test with a record of 7-4. Kennedy won 9-4 in their recent non-league test against Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA)
