In Friday's non-league game, the host Central Davidson Spartans baseball team scored a close 8-3 win over the Ledford Panthers.
The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets go into the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Asheboro was overwhelmed by Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC), 20-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 25. Ledford will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Timberwolves go into the game with a 2-6 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC).
