The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) baseball trounced the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), 9-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Nighthawks now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Northern Guilford will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Page (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Southwest Guilford drops to 3-4 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Southeast Guilford 7-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC)
