The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), saw Piedmont's baseball team beat Parkwood by a margin of 15-6.
The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts enter the non-league battle with a 4-4 record.
Next, the Wolf Pack face the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Parkwood will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Bearcats enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).
