The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX), observed Carroll's softball team get by Alice by a tally of 12-5.

The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX). The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Flour Bluff tipped Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX), 9-5, in a non-league bout.
