California High School Softball - Murrieta Valley edges Chaparral

The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Chaparral Pumas to 3 in the Nighthawks league win on Friday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Temecula Valley for a battle on Monday, March 24. Murrieta Valley will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 14-2 league loss to Great Oak (Temecula, CA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Chaparral moves to 1-2 on the season. The Pumas host Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA) to confront the Golden Bears in a battle on Friday, April 11. The Golden Bears come into the battle with a record of 3-5.
