The Topsail Pirates trounced the host New Hanover Wildcats lacrosse squad by a score of 14-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Pirates now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Brunswick for a Mideastern challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Topsail will clash with a Scorpions squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, New Hanover falls to 2-5 on the year. The Wildcats host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a Mideastern challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. South Brunswick lost 18-3 in their recent league challenge against Laney (Wilmington, NC)
