In Friday's league contest, the South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) soccer team routed the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA), by a count of 10-1.
Next, the Comets battle the Grovetown Warriors (Grovetown, GA) in a 6A Area 4 contest, on Tuesday, March 25. South Gwinnett will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Rockdale County (Conyers, GA).
The Rams (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Tigers enter the 6A Area 4 contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Archer was overwhelmed by Harrison (Kennesaw, GA), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
