Fans at Friday's league battle between the Park City Miners (Park City, UT) and the host Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT), saw Park City's soccer squad hold off Tooele by a count of 2-1.

The Miners (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT). The Colts enter the 4A Region 10 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Cottonwood was edged by Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Buffaloes battle the Layton Christian Academy Eagles (Layton, UT) in a 4A Region 10 battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Tooele will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Hillcrest (Midvale, UT).
