The New Albany Bulldogs softball squad (New Albany, MS), was routed 8-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS)
With the triumph, Alcorn Central improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Bears host Mantachie (Mantachie, MS) to face the Mustangs in a 3A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 6-9.
The Bulldogs now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Independence for a non-league contest on Monday, April 7.
