The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) and the visiting Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA), observed Sterlington's softball team get by Alexandria by a tally of 7-0.

The Panthers (9-5) will now prepare for their bout against North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA). The Griffins go into the non-league bout with a 16-2 record. In their last bout, North DeSoto tipped Minden (Minden, LA), 23-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 22. Alexandria will attempt to advance on its 18-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Port Barre (Port Barre, LA).
