Texas High School Softball - Azle defeated by Brewer

The Azle Hornets softball squad (Azle, TX), was routed 14-6 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX)

With the triumph, Brewer improves its record to 12-10 on the year. The Bears travel to Aledo (Aledo, TX) to face the Bearcats in a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, March 28. The Bearcats enter the contest with a record of 16-3.

The Hornets now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Aledo for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, March 25. Azle will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 16-3.
