Texas High School Softball - Boerne-Champion drops to Veterans Memorial

Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX), 9-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Veterans Memorial improves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to face the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, March 25. The Mules enter the game with a record of 4-11. Alamo Heights lost 11-8 in their recent league game against Tivy (Kerrville, TX)

The Chargers now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Smithson Valley for a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, March 25. Boerne-Champion will face a Rangers squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 10-1.
