The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) and the host Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), observed Boerne's softball team prevail over Wagner by a tally of 18-1.

The Greyhounds (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Antlers go into the 5A Region IV District 26 bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Tivy knocked off Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX), 11-8, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds clash with the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Wagner will attempt to advance on its 4-13 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 13-0 league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX).
