In Friday's league test, the Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tulia Hornets (Tulia, TX), by a tally of 21-1.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Dalhart Wolves (Dalhart, TX) in a 3A Region I District 1 test, on Monday, March 24. Canadian will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 6-6 record after their 18-3 league loss to River Road (Amarillo, TX).
The Hornets (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Bushland (Bushland, TX). The Falcons go into the 3A Region I District 1 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Bushland prevailed over Childress (Childress, TX), 11-1, in a league test.
