The Central Cabarrus Vikings softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Robinson Bulldogs to 2 in the Vikings league win on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Concord for a South Piedmont 3A battle on Tuesday, March 25. Central Cabarrus will confront a Spiders team coming off a 8-3 league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Robinson moves to 0-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to confront the Storm in a non-league battle on Monday, March 24. The Storm come into the battle with a record of 2-6. Stuart W. Cramer lost 16-1 in their recent league battle against South Point (Belmont, NC)
