California High School Softball - Chaparral bested by Murrieta Valley

March 21, 2025: Temecula, CA 92591

The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks triumphed over the host Chaparral Pumas softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks play the Temecula Valley Golden Bears (Temecula, CA) in a Southwestern challenge, on Monday, March 24. Murrieta Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Golden Bears enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 10-4 league loss to Great Oak (Temecula, CA).

The Pumas (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Segerstrom overcame Norwalk (Norwalk, CA), 9-0, in a non-league challenge.
