The Natchitoches Central Chiefs triumphed over the visiting David Thibodaux Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 17-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs meet the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. Natchitoches Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 7-5 league loss to Tioga (Tioga, LA).

The Bulldogs (10-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league challenge with a 15-2 record. In their last challenge, Pineville overcame Neville (Monroe, LA), 16-0, in a league challenge.
