The Pineville Rebels softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting David Thibodaux Bulldogs to 0 in the Rebels non-league win on Friday.
The Rebels now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterlington for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. Pineville will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, David Thibodaux moves to 10-12 on the season. The Bulldogs host Alexandria (Alexandria, LA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 16-3. Alexandria won 11-5 in their recent league battle against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA)
