Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC), 17-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Davie upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The War Eagles travel to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC) to play the Titans in a Central Piedmont 4A game on Tuesday, March 25. The Titans enter the game with a record of 10-0. West Forsyth won 7-4 in their recent league game against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)

The Spartans now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Glenn for a Central Piedmont 4A game on Monday, March 24. Mount Tabor will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 26-1 league win over R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-5.
