The Del Valle Conquistadores softball team scored 21 runs and held the host Horizon Scorpions to 0 in the Conquistadores league win on Friday.

The Conquistadores now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkland for a 5A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, March 25. Del Valle will confront a Matadors team coming off a 11-1 league win over Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 13-10.

With the loss, Horizon moves to 6-13 on the season. The Scorpions travel to El Dorado (El Paso, TX) to confront the Aztecs in a 5A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Aztecs come into the battle with a record of 14-4. El Dorado won 19-5 in their recent league battle against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)
