Drew Central Pirates (Monticello, AR) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Dumas Bobcats (Dumas, AR), 16-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Drew Central upgrades its record to 3-7 on the year. The Pirates travel to Smackover (Smackover, AR) to play the Buckaroos in a non-league game on Saturday, March 22. The Buckaroos enter the game with a record of 5-1.

The Bobcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rison for a 3A Region 8 game on Tuesday, April 1. Dumas will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Hampton (Hampton, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
