Virginia High School Softball - Fauquier sneaks past Skyline

In Friday's league match, the host Fauquier Falcons softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Skyline Hawks.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Mustangs go into the Northwestern bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Meridian tipped Annandale (Annandale, VA), 17-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA) in a Northwestern bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Skyline will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 15-8 league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA).
