Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX), 8-6 in a league game.

With the triumph, Fort Bend Austin improves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX) to face the Panthers in a 6A Region III District 20 game on Tuesday, March 25. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 13-2. Ridge Point won 18-2 in their recent league game against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX)

The Broncos now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Fort Bend Dulles for a 6A Region III District 20 outing on Tuesday, March 25. Fort Bend Bush will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 21-1 league loss to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.
