The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) and the visiting South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC), observed Gilbert's softball team prevail over South Aiken by a tally of 10-0.

The Indians (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Midland Valley was routed by Airport (West Columbia, SC), 12-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Thoroughbreds clash with the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Monday, March 24. South Aiken will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The War Eagles go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 13-0 league win over Aiken (Aiken, SC).
