Texas High School Softball - Gilmer bounces Pine Tree

The Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) softball routed the visiting Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), 10-3 in Friday's league outing.

The Buckeyes now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kilgore for a 4A Region II District 16 outing on Tuesday, March 25. Gilmer will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-1 league loss to Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Pine Tree moves to 7-13 on the season. The Pirates host Spring Hill (Longview, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a 4A Region II District 16 outing on Friday, March 28. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 12-9.
