The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX) and the visiting Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX), observed Tatum's softball team get by Gladewater by a tally of 5-3.

The Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their bout against West Rusk (New London, TX). The Raiders go into the 3A Region II District 16 bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, West Rusk by Troup (Troup, TX), 15-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Gladewater will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record. The Roughnecks go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 17-3 league loss to Arp (Arp, TX).
