The St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles triumphed over the visiting Grenada Chargers softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. St. Benedict at Auburndale will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 7-1 league win over Southaven (Southaven, MS).
The Chargers (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against East Union (Blue Springs, MS). The Urchins enter the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, East Union overcame New Site (New Site, MS), 16-1, in a league challenge.
