Texas High School Softball - Highland Park bounces Newman Smith

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) and the host Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), observed Highland Park's softball team prevail over Newman Smith by a tally of 15-0.

The Scots (5-10) will now prepare for their bout against Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region II District 12 bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Reedy knocked off Turner (Carrollton, TX), 16-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Wednesday, March 26. Newman Smith will attempt to advance on its 0-14 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 8-7 league loss to The Colony (The Colony, TX).
