The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting LEE Volunteers (San Antonio, TX), observed Madison's softball team prevail over LEE by a tally of 11-1.

The Mavericks (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX). The Rough Riders go into the 6A Region IV District 28 bout with a 0-10 record. In their last bout, SA Roosevelt was routed by Brandeis (San Antonio, TX), 18-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Volunteers clash with the Churchill Chargers (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. LEE will attempt to advance on its 1-14 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 8-4 league win over Johnson (San Antonio, TX).
