The New Boston Lions triumphed over the visiting Liberty-Eylau Leopards softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. New Boston will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Rabbits enter the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 24-4 non-league win over Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX).

The Leopards (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Redwater (Redwater, TX). The Dragons enter the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Redwater was routed by Hooks (Hooks, TX), 14-3, in a league challenge.
