Texas High School Softball - Nimitz bounces MacArthur

In Friday's league match, the host Nimitz Vikings softball team scored a tight 23-19 win over the MacArthur Cardinals.

The Vikings (3-10) will now prepare for their match against Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region I District 7 match with a 8-13 record. In their last match, Richardson was routed by Irving (Irving, TX), 8-7, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 match, on Tuesday, March 25. MacArthur will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Rams come into the match with a 3-16 record after their 17-0 league loss to Pearce (Richardson, TX).
