Kentucky High School Softball - McCracken County held off by Marshall County

The Marshall County Marshals got by the visiting McCracken County Mustangs softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Marshals meet the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 22. Marshall County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Lyon County (Eddyville, KY).
The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carbondale (Carbondale, IL). The Terriers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Carbondale was nudged by Herrin (Herrin, IL), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
