Texas High School Softball - Riesel bounces Mart

The Riesel Indians softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Mart Panthers to 0 in the Indians league win on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dawson for a 2A Region II District 16 battle on Tuesday, March 25. Riesel will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to McGregor (McGregor, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Mart moves to 8-9 on the season. The Panthers host Hubbard (Hubbard, TX) to confront the Jaguars in a 1A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 9-4. Hubbard lost 13-0 in their recent league battle against Axtell (Axtell, TX)
