In Friday's league test, the Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX), by a count of 11-0.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 test, on Tuesday, March 25. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 21-3 season record. The Rebels go into the test with a 12-8 record after their 8-3 league loss to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX).
The Bobcats (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region I District 2 test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Frenship toppled Permian (Odessa, TX), 5-2, in a league test.
