North Carolina High School Softball - Oak Grove edges North Davidson

March 21, 2025: Winston-Salem, NC 27107

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), observed Oak Grove's softball team get by North Davidson by a tally of 3-1.

The Grizzlies (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers go into the Mid-Piedmont 3A bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Ledford got by Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 10-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, North Davidson moves to 6-4 on the season. The Black knights host Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to encounter the Blue Comets in a Mid-Piedmont 3A outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Blue Comets come into the outing with a record of 3-6. Asheboro lost 15-0 in their recent league outing against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
