In Friday's non-league test, the St. Joseph Catholic Eagles (Bryan, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host O'Connell Buccaneers (Galveston, TX), by a count of 15-0.
Next, the Eagles meet the Alpha Omega Academy Lions (Huntsville, TX) in a TAPPS Division IV District 6 test, on Tuesday, March 25. St. Joseph Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 3-10 record after their 19-8 league win over Second Baptist University-Model (Houston, TX).
The Buccaneers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Alpha Omega Academy (Huntsville, TX). The Lions go into the TAPPS Division IV District 6 test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Alpha Omega Academy was routed by St. Joseph Catholic (Bryan, TX), 9-5, in a league test.
