California High School Softball - Pioneer topped by Piedmont Hills

March 21, 2025: San Jose, CA 95118

Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA), 14-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Piedmont Hills improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Lincoln (San Jose, CA) to play the Lions in a Santa Teresa game on Monday, March 24. The Lions enter the game with a record of 5-2. Lincoln won 13-0 in their recent league game against Oak Grove (San Jose, CA)

The Mustangs now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Del Mar for a Santa Teresa game on Wednesday, March 26. Pioneer will play a Dons squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Dons record now stands at 1-5.
