St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA) supporters went home thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA), 7-1 in a non-league test.

The Warriors now hold a 7-14 record. They take the field next when they host Ouachita Parish for a non-league test on Monday, March 23. St. Frederick will play a Lions team coming off a 17-3 league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Lions record now stands at 2-19.

With the defeat, Caldwell Parish moves to 11-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to Buckeye (Buckeye, LA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 24. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 12-9. Buckeye lost 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Oakdale (Oakdale, LA)
