In Saturday's league bout, the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX), by a tally of 15-0.
Next up, the Rams encounter the Galena Park Yellowjackets (Galena Park, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 bout, on Tuesday, March 24. Waltrip will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 8-9 record after their 8-7 league loss to Spring Woods (Houston, TX).
The Apollos (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Carnegie Vanguard (Houston, TX). The Rhinos go into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Carnegie Vanguard gained a win over Madison (Houston, TX), 17-0, in a league challenge.
