Mississippi High School Baseball - Wayne County loses to Vancleave

In Saturday's league bout, the Vancleave Bulldogs (Vancleave, MS) baseball squad the host Wayne County War EaglesLady War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS), by a count of 6-2.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Purvis for a 5A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 24. Vancleave will clash with a Tornadoes team coming off a 9-3 league win over Stone (Wiggins, MS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 12-3.

The War EaglesLady War Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their bout against Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tigers enter the 5A Region 4 bout with a 6-9 record. In their last bout, Northeast Jones edged East Central (Moss Point, MS), 6-5, in a league bout.
