The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) and the visiting Stevenson Spartans (Livonia, MI), saw Huron's baseball team overcome Stevenson by a final score of 6-1.

With the triumph, Huron moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Jefferson (Monroe, MI) to confront the Bears in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 8. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Spartans now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belleville for a battle on Tuesday, March 24.
