Illinois High School Softball - Normal Community Rochester

The Rochester Rockets overwhelmed the host Normal Community Ironmen softball team by a margin of 11-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Rockets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Normal University for a Central State Eight outing on Tuesday, March 24. Rochester will encounter a Pioneers team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Normal Community moves to 2-3 on the season. The Ironmen travel to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league outing on Monday, March 30. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 1-0.
