Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX) and the visiting Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), saw Blanco's baseball squad knock off Hondo by a count of 11-3.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Llano Yellowjackets (Llano, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 battle, on Tuesday, March 29. Blanco will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a 7-6 record after their 19-0 league win over Comfort (Comfort, TX).

The Owls now possess a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearsall for a non-league battle on Friday, March 25. Hondo will play a Mavericks squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Lutheran (San Antonio, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-6.
