North Carolina High School Baseball - Sheets Memorial Christian defeats Lee Park Prep

Sheets Memorial Christian Eagles (Lexington, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC), 9-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Sheets Memorial Christian moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, March 25. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 6-3. Forsyth Home Educators lost 13-9 in their recent non-league battle against Elkin (Elkin, NC)

The Knights now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Master's Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 26. Lee Park Prep will play a Lions squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC). The Lions record now stands at 7-1.
