North Carolina High School Baseball - South Caldwell loses to Watauga

In Tuesday's league game, the host Watauga Pioneers baseball team scored a nice 15-5 victory over the South Caldwell Spartans.
The Pioneers (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars go into the Northwestern 3A/4A game with a 9-0 record. In their last game, Alexander Central ran past Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 10-2, in a non-league game.
The Spartans (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots go into the Northwestern 3A/4A game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Freedom ran past Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 8-4, in a league game.
