Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Swansea Tigers (Swansea, SC), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) in a challenge, on Friday, March 25. Gilbert will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC).
The Tigers now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Airport for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 28. Swansea will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Newberry (Newberry, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
