Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 24-7 in a league battle.
The Golden Hawks now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Panther Creek for a Southwest Wake battle on Thursday, March 24. Holly Springs will clash with a Catamounts team coming off a 18-6 league win over Cary (Cary, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 4-4.
The Cougars (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons enter the Southwest Wake game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Green Hope toppled Green Level (Cary, NC), 14-13, in a non-league game.
