Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA) in a A Public Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, March 24. Echols County will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 6-2 league loss to Atkinson County (Pearson, GA).

The Trojans now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atkinson County for a A Public Region 2 challenge on Friday, March 25.
